Derek Grzanich, D.D.S., M.S.D is a graduate of the College of Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After graduation he returned to his hometown in Illinois where he practiced general dentistry for eight years. He moved to Houston to pursue his passion for Endodontics and studied at Houston School of Dentistry in The University of Texas Health Science Center where he received a Certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree.
While he was in residency at the University of Texas, Dr. Grzanich received first place research awards from both the American Association of Endodontists and the Greater Houston Dental Society Star of the South for his clinical cases and presentation. His presentation was called “Intentional Replantation. Saving Hopeless Natural Teeth.” He also received a research award from the American Association of Endodontists for his thesis research on Determination of Pulp Response Following Crown Preparation.
Dr. Grzanich is a faculty member at the OSF GPR program in Peoria, IL, and is visiting faculty at the Houston School of Dentistry. He’s a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
In his spare time Dr. Grzanich enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He enjoys golfing, skiing, exercising, gardening, and traveling.
